Our old boy the 12 yo chaser Casual Cavalier is trying a new trip at Ayr on Sunday running over 2m 6f in what looks like a competitive handicap with 10 runners going to post.
Some in form stables represented and a handful of runners look on good handicap marks.
It feels a bit late in Casual Cavaliers career to be experimenting with new distances however he has been struggling to get his head in front for a while now so this is an attempt at something new for the horse.
Looking forward to a good day out out and the usual decent owner facilities offered by Ayr racecourse.
