Our racing club star performer the 11yo chaser Casual Cavalier is stepped up to 3m for the first time in his career at Newcastle on Saturday. This trip is a step into unknown territory as the horse has always been campaigned at two and two and a half miles throughout his career. Running off a season high handicap mark of 113 on Saturday and ground not as soft as he would like this is a tough ask of the old boy. Lets hope he runs his race and comes back in safe and sound.
