Wetherby runners and another tipped winner!
Only the two tips this weekend and the main nap selection won at 4/1 producing a healthy profit for MGR members. This seasons tipping service is proving a profitable venture and personally I am having to endure even more betting accounts being closed for obvious reasons. These online bookmakers just don't like paying out one bit.
Two runners at Wetherby tomorrow and the opposition could not be any more difficult with large fields and top stables represented. It looks like it will be difficult to get involved in the finish of either race.
The 5yo Grey Mare Samba Time is a first produce of an unraced French bred dam. She has a high knee action and will appreciate softer ground than she will encounter tomorrow at Wetherby where the going has dried up considerably with no further rain forecast. At home she has worked more like a 3 mile staying hurdler and we don't expect her to have the finishing kick to get involved in a bumper finish. What she does need though is racing experience and to learn the job and tomorrow is a starting point in that regard.
Grays Choice has managed to find one of toughest low grade handicap hurdles around with a massive 19 runners engaged in his race, only one runner below the maximum field size limit. They could have split the race into a more sensible 10 and 9 runner race but no all 19 must go in one charge around the tight Wetherby bends so lets hope for no mishaps and we get our 6yo gelding home in one piece please.
